Why do you want to be part of Survivor?: 26 days in Fiji will be nice. A million dollars will be nice. But if you are anything like me (which sometimes I am) and you have a burning desire to cling to a telephone pole in your underwear on national television… Survivor is the only way you’re gonna get that done.
What’s one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game?: Does my childhood count as an experience?
Which previous player do you identify with the most? I probably identify the most with Joe, the gorgeous bohemian from Utah. He is a true gentleman and chiseled like a Roman God… We have a lot in common.
Who do you think you will play most like? I hope I would play the game like Kenzie; she was soooo likable. I could never write down her name – I really hope people have a hard time writing down mine.
What will you value in an alliance partner? I hope to align with people who think they are smarter than me. If I can play a subservient role, it will be easier to hide until it is time to “turn it on.”
Favorite hobbies: Fishing, hiking, traveling
Pet Peeves: Listening to someone incorporate texting shorthand into a verbal conversation, OMG… LOL!
What is something we would never know from looking at you? I love to cook and would like to open a restaurant someday. Maybe when I win season 49, I’ll use the money to buy the Sanctuary… I’ll name myself head chef and bartender.
Who is your biggest inspiration and why? My wife, Krissy. She had worked as a hospice nurse; her empathy dial is turned all the way to eleven. She is my life coach and my best friend. She taught me how to evolve, she is the reason I strive every day to be a better version of me than I was the day before.
Why will you be the Sole Survivor? I am prepared, I am disciplined, I am adaptable, and I am on a beach in Fiji. At this point, all I need is patience.
