Why do you want to be part of Survivor?: I love the show. Once I became a US citizen, I owed it to myself to apply, to take this new opportunity and really live and be an example of my American dream. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take and even if I don’t have a notion of what’s going on, I’ll always put myself forward and give it a go.
What’s one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game?: My trip a few months ago to North Korea. At times we were isolated, unable to leave our rooms, no communication with the outside world, no phones, uncomfortable rock hard beds, never knowing what’s coming the following day, not knowing if one wrong move is going to get you... voted out!
Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like?: I identify with Venus. She’s just out here trying to represent and handle the chaos as best she can. She’s funny and not afraid to say what’s on her mind and stands 10 toes down. I also feeling like I’m a better, cooler, version of Tyson.
What will you value in an alliance partner?: Someone that’s there to cause chaos and have fun. Someone that won’t rat me out. Snitches get their torches snuffed.
Favorite hobbies: Lying! What do you mean I can go on a show where it’s okay to deceive people?! I also love traveling and charting the unknown I’ve always wanted to live a remote life as my wife I travelled the US renovating a school bus that we now call our beautiful home.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?: I’ve been to 40+ countries, I’ve seen the good, bad and ugly and I have appreciation for it all. I love travel so much I live in a school bus!
What is something we would never know from looking at you?: I feel I’m more intelligent than people take me for. I might sound a bit rough around the edges but on Survivor, every blunder, every mistake I make publicly is probably very thought out and deliberately executed move.
Who in your life is your biggest inspiration and why?: My beautiful wife Andrea. She’s a partner that is just as bold and daring as me. She keeps me on my toes and makes my life so spontaneous and magical. She’s the only reason I’d even be half decent at Survivor. She has and continues to teach me so much about life. I love her with all my heart.
Why will you be the Sole Survivor?: I probably won’t be the Sole Survivor. If these players have any notion about them they’ll make sure I don’t get to Final Tribal Council. But if I do, the game is as good as won.
