Why do you want to be part of Survivor?: Survivor represents the best of the human spirit – physical endurance, mental toughness and social awareness.
What’s one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game?: Being a criminal defense attorney – defending the little guy from the all-powerful government means constantly being “on the bottom” and how to think creatively.
Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like? I identify most with Kyle Fraser. Most like him with a touch of Rachel, and, of course, Parvati!
What will you value in an alliance partner? Someone who thinks and plays differently than me – diversity is the best asset.
Favorite hobbies: Gardening, reading, going on long walks with my husband, and daughter and our two poodles.
Pet Peeves: People who are ruled by their emotions and misogyny.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? 10 years of sobriety from drugs and alcohol.
What is something we would never know from looking at you? I am Iranian – my dad came here when he was 18 and never went back. I hope to visit one day!
Who in your life is your biggest inspiration and why? My daughter, Lyla, inspires me every day to be better, push harder, and have fun!
Why will you be the Sole Survivor? Every lesson I’ve learned in my life brings me to this moment and I plan on capitalizing on that momentum and grit to outwit, outplay and outlast!
