3 Words to Describe You: Goofy, ambitious, chaotic
Why do you want to be part of Survivor?: Survivor is the perfect opportunity to lock into my competitive side. I love games and who doesn’t want to lie and deceive in a setting where it’s totally acceptable to do so?
What’s one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game?: Being an actor means you need to have really thick skin. I’ve had extremely down moments, but I’ve always picked myself up. I’ve created a career I’m really proud of and that’s thanks to never giving up and always finding an alternative route. That’s what I intend to do on Survivor.
Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like?: I identify with Tony ‘cause he’s chaotic like me; never know what to expect. I would love to play most like Ricard who is severely underrated. That player is a strategy mastermind!
What will you value in an alliance partner?: If an alliance partner is willing to divulge others’ secrets to me, I feel like they have put their trust in me. Which is quite unfortunate for them, ‘cause trusting me might be a mistake.
Favorite hobbies: I enjoy playing video games (league, anyone?), exploring new coffee shops, playing the piano and have recently become a gym rat!
Pet Peeves: Transition lenses (they’re weird and aesthetically, it’s a no for me). People who enter the subway and don’t go all the way into the train (move, please!). Cheaters (both in relationships and games!)
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?: I’m most proud of the career I’ve built in voice over. I worked my butt off to get to where I am and can proudly say I’ve done voices for over 60 animated shows and a ton of commercials, audiobooks and video games!
What is something we would never know from looking at you?: That I have an honors degree in Political Science (specifically Political Theory). I enjoy reading about the dynamics of power and why people in positions of power do what they do.
Who in your life is your biggest inspiration and why?: My mom. She fought cancer for 18 years and she was the most positive and optimistic person, despite the pain that she was enduring. She unfortunately passed in 2020. I’m also playing for her! She was a huge Survivor fan too.
Why will you be the Sole Survivor?: Because I’m hopefully not going to be afraid to take some creative liberties to either build more trust or cause some chaos. High risk, high reward, right?
