Why do you want to be part of Survivor?: Survivor has been on my bucket list. You never know when your last day will be – so better get rollin’ on the list!
What’s one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game?: Opened a snow cone truck, kind of put me in a tropical mood.
Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like?: I enjoy the thrill of Tony. One of the greats to ever do it. It’s a toss-up who I’ll play like, the game is so situational. I’m going a cross between Rob, Ozzy, Tony, Sam Phalen.
What will you value in an alliance partner?: I’ll value communication. I’ve got your back if you’ve got mine. The bottom layer of flooring in this game is trust. Let’s keep each other in the loop.
Favorite hobbies: I’ve always had a passion for woodworking. My Grandpa Shaffer built his own house – so that’s why. My high school shop teacher Grant Engel showed me how to work with epoxy. I love making epoxy river/resin tables!
Pet Peeves: If you chew with your mouth open – you just as well pack your bags and head home – life’s too short for that.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?: One of my buddies and I started a moving company from scratch. Started by doing some pretty small, odds and ends moving, and now are helping people relocate all across the U.S. We spent most of our time in the name department...it’s called MOVE MOVE MOVE!
What is something we would never know from looking at you?: I can make a really weird whistling noise with the back of my throat – not sure why?
Who in your life is your biggest inspiration and why?: My mom and dad, and it’s not up for debate. They’ve each taught me from a young age how to work hard, chase your dreams, and never to stop.
Why will you be the Sole Survivor?: It’s gotta be one of us roundheads... Why not me?
